Our colonial guest house is
just minutes from El Jardín, the stimulating heart of San
Miguel, but within Casa de Suenos' three-foot-thick adobe
walls there is tranquility, and relief from summer heat or
winter chill. Open our venerable wooden door and enter our
sun-dappled courtyard, and you might feel like taking off
your watch.
But Casa de Suenos can be stimulating, for besides the courtyard you will find La Escuela, a traditional painting and drawing school. Here you may see students at work with your host, Keith Keller, who has taught art in Mexico since 1985.
Among the delights awaiting you in Casa de Suenos are artworks
created by Keith's long-term students, and creative floral
arrangements by Marcia Nunez, your co-host. And there are
views you are welcome to enjoy from our roof cactus garden.
Garbanzo and Bufanda may have claimed lounge chairs, but
they are kittens and will move if you ask them. Our pure-bred
San Miguel street dogs, Fanny and Dalia, are pussycats,
too. |
